How would you describe your role?
As Finance Director, my role is hugely varied and no two days are the same. Ultimately, I’m responsible for ensuring the finances of the business are always maintained to the highest level whilst also focusing on the strategy of the Business, working alongside the Management Team to ensure continued growth and future success.
What do you love most about your job?
I love the variety that my role brings. I’m fortunate to have a role that allows me to communicate and work with many different stakeholders of the business on many different aspects of finance. This variety ensures I’m always eager to see what each working day may have in store!
What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?
It may sound a bit cheesy but I think “Listen to Learn” is a great piece of advice. You can’t learn anything when you’re talking but by learning how to listen properly to all stakeholders of the business, my knowledge and understanding of many different areas has increased immeasurably.
