The first event of SAF Solutions’ 20th anniversary fundraising took place earlier this week, and it’s safe to say it was a sweet success. This bake-off event alone raised over £100 for Clatterbridge Cancer Charity.

The SAF Bake-Off gave staff the opportunity to showcase their skills while raising money for a fantastic cause. The competition was fierce, from cookies to macaroons to millionaire’s shortbread, the standard was incredibly high.

After a day of tasting, donating, and voting, the results are in. We’re delighted to announce that Jane has been crowned SAF Bake-Off Champion, impressing the office with her standout pistachio cookies. Jane’s cookies had a high demand in the office, earning her the top spot in a closely contested vote.

The Bake-Off marked a strong start to our year of fundraising. The funds raised in this event alone are enough to buy a massage gun to aid pain relief and decrease reliance on prescribed drugs. Thank you to everyone who donated for your generosity. If you’d like to support, you can donate via our fundraising page. Every contribution makes a difference.

With more events planned throughout the year, SAF Solutions is proud to be celebrating its 20th anniversary by giving back and supporting a cause that makes a real difference in our local area.

A big thank you to all our bakers for their efforts, and congratulations once again to Jane on her well-deserved win.

We look forward to seeing what the next event brings.
