Client:
Sector:
The veterinary industry is a sector which SAF is experiencing an increase in activity for companies seeking to utilise alternate routes of procurement. SAF provided CVS (UK) Limited with a bespoke finance solution via a 3-year finance lease, which allowed for the purchase of an LG Digital Radiography Retrofit System.
CVS (UK) Limited (CVS) is one of the largest providers of integrated veterinary services, with a portfolio of over 500 veterinary practices across the UK.
CVS procured an LG Digital Radiography Retrofit System, which is an equipment solution that allows for aging X-Ray Scanners to be digitised without the expenditure needed to upgrade the whole system. This solution is a hugely cost-effective way of improving their X-Ray facilities at their Fakenham Surgery in Norfolk.
SAF’s flexible finance was the most effective route of procurement for CVS, as it allows the company to improve the level of service quality provided to patients, without the need for immediate capital expenditure.
SAF’s Solution:
SAF created a bespoke solution via a finance lease, which allowed CVS to structure payments in a manner that allowed for efficient cashflow management. The nature of CVS’s business plan means that cashflow management is key to the expansion of the company, with CVS frequently acquiring new practices across the UK strengthening its portfolio.
Mitigating the requirement for immediate outright capital expenditure for the equipment means CVS can utilise capital budgets for future expansion projects.
Outcome:
The bespoke finance solution required internal sign-off from the hierarchy of CVS, with the company being one of the largest providers of veterinary services within the UK. SAF’s understanding of the requirements and communication was key in managing the transaction providing an efficient and smooth process of creating a bespoke solution for CVS.
This enabled CVS to procure an LG Digital Radiography Retrofit System, without the need for any outright capital expenditure.
