SAF’s Solution

Having collaborated with the Living Care Group on previously funded transactions, the existing relationship that we had with the customer allowed us to fully understand the requirements of the company from a procurement and budget perspective. This meant SAF was efficient in creating a bespoke solution that allowed for the cost of state-of-the-art equipment to be procured. With the cost of investment being spread over a 5-year period, the increased patient throughput justified the additional monthly spend, providing a cost-effective purchase mechanism whilst significantly improving patient welfare.

Outcome

The procurement of the ophthalmic diagnostic equipment from Carl Zeiss has allowed the management team within the Living Care group and the staff at Thorpe Park Clinic to facilitate a greater throughput of diagnostic procedures and take the financial benefit of increased tariff revenue. This meant that a 5-year finance lease was the perfect solution for the customer to manage their expenditure at a time of expansion, whilst taking the clinical benefit of industry leading ophthalmic diagnostic equipment.

Phil Dring, Head of Sales at SAF Solutions said:

The services provided at Thorpe Park Clinic, and community-based healthcare in general will become increasingly important in improving patient outcomes.

For SAF, via our Zeiss Rental finance programme, its always fulfilling when a customer returns to secure further investment via our solutions. Our solutions can really help the private healthcare sector secure investment in equipment that can push their service provision to a new level. It was a pleasure to continue to work with the management team at Living Care Group to secure this order for Carl Zeiss.
